Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actress from America. In 1983, following her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames in 1983 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was a well-known member of the group. For her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for more than twenty years. She began her career in film early in the 1980s with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of praise. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her debut success in a movie, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films of all time. Even though the film's budget was only $1 million, the film has grossed more than $50 millions. In the meantime, she was also being featured in various shows on TV such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. It was a show for teenagers that began to air in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was a part of. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
